			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Yesterday was our first &#8220;meeting day&#8221; at school.  I don&#8217;t like meetings very much, so it wasn&#8217;t a fun day.  But I saw all my co-workers, so it <em>was</em> a fun day.  I dressed casually for the occasion, which means I wore my <a href="http://bradaptation.com/2009/06/11/summer-shoes-2/">summer shoes</a>.  I have built up effective callouses to withstand the sharp, cutting, painful spots on the shoes.  I also have apparently been getting a lot of sun on my feet.  They&#8217;ve become tanned.  Yesterday, in spite of the meetings, I somehow got even more sun on them.  They felt almost hot, like I had burned them or something.</p>
